What the RX4111CE can do

No DTCXO

The tolerance figure applies at +25 °C. Over temperature the built-in crystal follows the usual parabola.

Power switch

Detects the loss of the main supply and switches to the backup source on its own — compared with a diode-OR arrangement the MOS switch saves leakage current and voltage drop.

Time stamps 8

Events are recorded with their time inside the device, without the MCU having to wake up for it.

V_IO pin

A separate level for the interface: the device runs on 3 V but talks to a 1.8 V MCU without a level shifter.

Self-monitoring

Reports an oscillation stop instead of quietly delivering the wrong time.
